I was disappointed with the rooms, I thought they could have been so much nicer considering this was mallorca rocks hotel, so basic, one of the worst I’ve stayed in actually, no air conditioning, two fans. one in each room and they may as well not have been there because the stingy buggers had the fans on the lowest speed and cut the cable so you couldn’t turn it up! So after two nights of waking up sweating we decided to order an air con unit for 70 euros and also a 20 euro deposit on top, that came after a day as it was from a delivery service, it didn’t cool down the room enough as it was set to a temperature and speed which you couldn’t change so in the end the sofa and sofa bed ended up in the bedroom and we all slept in there with the air con machine.
We were a bit gutted to be put behind the stage after paying for a pool view and requesting A stage view, but we still had fun watching the gigs from our room etc, these were good and the atmosphere was great to be fair, very loud music so no snoozing during gig nights!
The pool was busy pretty much most of the time, sun beds were hard to get a hold of and there was so much ball chucking from groups in the pool that your garenteed to get hit by a ball! Also the music was good but a bit over played at times. The food at the hotel itself was nice there isn’t a huge variety though.
There was such a bad smell by block 3,stale alcohol honestly it stank so bad and we had to walk through it every day. someone needs to give that floor a good power wash lol!
On gig days security was a bit stupid, if you have a bag you literally can’t go in the hotel you have to go around the back way and even if your staying at the hotel they don’t let you bring in any drinks not even water when gigs are on. even if your only going to your room. Such a ball ache.
The mallorca rocks host team were good, they don’t always sell the cheapest tickets but BCM tickets are cheap unless its Calvin Harris it’s cheaper to get them outside BCM. I loved BCM I was pretty disappointed in Maga strip though, nothing special. If it wasn’t for BCM and BCM square I would have gone home so disappointed! Luckily I was with a good group of people and we had a good time, we went out there to get smashed and we certainly did that, overall Maga wasn’t the greatest holiday, out of my 5 I’d probably rate it 4th or 5th I’m afraid, and I wouldn’t pay to stay at this hotel again because I don’t think it’s worth it, it’s nothing special, if you guys want the time of your life, stay at Tsokkos holiday apartments in Ayia Napa, nothing will ever compare to Ayia Napa, I won’t be returning to magaluf any time soon.
Oh. try the water park that was an awesome day!
And I don’t mean to put a downer on anyone staying at this hotel, it is only my opinion and I’m sure for those going on first time holidays you will love it!

Women touting for customers on a rural highway outside Els Alamus near Lleida in Catalonia have been told to don the yellow fluorescent bibs or pay fines of 40 euros (?36) under road traffic laws.
Police claim the sex workers on the LL-11 road are not being specifically targeted because of what they do but because they posed a danger to drivers.
The prostitutes are in breach of 2004 law which states pedestrians on major highways and hard shoulders must wear the high visibility garments.
A spokesman for the regional police force, the Mossos d’Esquadra said: “In the past couple of months the prostitutes have been fined for two reasons: for not wearing the reflective jacket and for creating danger on the public highway.”
The move follows recent legislation introduced by Els Alamus town hall to ban prostitutes from offering sex for sale in public urban areas. The mayor Josep Maria Bea has been accused of mounting a campaign to drive the sex workers out of the area.
An estimated 300,000 women work as prostitutes in Spain where prostitution is not illegal but profiting from the sale of sex by another is.
Women wearing very little clothing and standing on roadsides outside towns and cities are a common sight across Spain. A recent survey found one in four Spanish men admitted to having paid for sex.
